…as YAN national body petitions Imo lawmaker to Code of Conduct Bureau, ICPC, IGP

Otuibe

The national leadership of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) has petitioned dishonourable Samuel Otuibe; the member representing Ahiazu Mbaise constituency in the Imo state house of Assembly to the code of conduct bureau and ICPC.

Hon Uju Onwudiwe

Same way the YAN leadership petitioned the Inspector General of Police, ICPC, Code of Conduct bureau via the case of Sen. Elisha Abbo on violence against women, the Assembly sitting at the women development centre in Abuja last weekend has passed a resolution naming Mr. Samuel Otuibe as the 3rd dishonorable legislator in Nigeria 2020.

The Youth Assembly sitting presided by the outgoing national speaker of the assembly; Rt.Hon. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel condemned in it’s totality the assault meted on Hon. Uju Onwudiwe; member representing Njaba State constituency in Imo state house of assembly by the dishonorable Samuel Otuibe.

In a 6 page petition, the Youth Assembly has called on the IGP and ICPC to invite and investigate dishonourable Samuel Otuibe on the 12 point counts stated in the petition.

There shouldn’t be any form of selective justice when it comes to violence against women in Nigeria, Godstime exclaimed.
