The Acting Director General of the Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), Barr. Ezekiel Opara, has denied the claims, credited to the suspended IBC staff, Vivian Ottih, claiming that Gov Hope Uzodinma sacked a gate man for opening the gate of the corporation for her.
Barr. Ezekiel insisted that the supposedly sacked gate man, Mr. Akujobi James, was currently at his duty post..
Ezekiel insisted that no staff of IBC, has been sacked by Gov. Hope Uzodinma.
He also denied that no query was issued to the gate man in question, or anybody for that matter at IBC.
He expressed displeasure, at the false accusation leveled against the Commissioner for Information, Hon. Declan Emelumba. Ezekiel stated that Emelumba, was not even aware that Mrs. Ottih had visited IBC, let alone issuing a sack order to anyone.
It would be recalled that Barr. Mrs Vivian Ottih was suspended, after she lamented the non-payment of over three months of salaries, to workers of IBC.
She made a post alleging that a gate man was sacked for opening the gate of IBC for her.
