ON YOUR JOURNEY TO BECOMING WHO GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO BE, NOT EVERYONE SHOULD BE ALLOWED IN YOUR TRAIN…
One of the first and important things to do, as you start building up to the place of your purpose and assignment is to sit down and take a keen look at your circle of friends and determine who should remain close and who should be kept out of your inner circle. Some people are not necessarily bad but are as-well, not a healthy company for your journey to the place of your purpose.
Not everyone will understand or make sense of your God-given vision and so they will only either keep being a huge distraction to you or try to talk you out of it. Sometimes, no extent of good explanation will make any sense to such friends, so the only option is to keep them at a distance.
As a matter of fact, God does not require a battalion of people to help you get to your destiny, he only uses just a few useful people. One big mistake you will be making is to keep seeking the approval or applaud of too many people before you do what God has placed in your heart. In fact, the bible said in Proverbs 18:24 (New American Standard Bible) …
“A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
What you really need to become all that God has destined you to be is not a crowd of friends, but a few healthy friends that will stick closer than a brother; People who are so passionate about seeing you succeed and are not envious of your success, who are ever willing to lend the needed support.
So, I’d like to ask you to take out time to look at your inner circle, how relevant are they to you as you sojourn to the place of your purpose?
