Mr. AIC Akwarandu, the New Media aide to removed govenror of Imo State, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, have urged the embattled Imo State Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Chiji Collins, to apologize to the people of Imo State, for leading a most turbulent Assembly where women are assaulted and disrespected.
Akwarandu made the reaction on his Facebook page, and it reads as follows;
“Has Chiji Collins apologized for leading a House where women are assaulted and disrespected? I urge Imo women and all genuine gender advocates to stand against this public assault on a female lawmaker.
When the issue of leadership ineptitude of the Speaker is discussed, His supporters see it as a fight rather than taking simple corrections.
Chiji must take responsibility and restore decorum in the House or immediately step aside.
Enough is Enough.
Chiji Collins has been faced with threats of impeachment of late, and had accused Ihedioha of being behind the plot to unseat him.
Akwarandu have earlier admonished Chiji Collins, to leave Ihedioha out of his travails and step aside honorably, if he has no ideas on how to lead the State Assembly.
