Dr. Fabian Ihekweme the Imo State Commissioner for Foreign/International Affairs has reacted to the appeal by sacked Governor of Imo State Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha to an Owerri High Court to stop the Imo State Assembly from inviting him to appear before them.
Ihekweme speaking through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Mbazuigwe Davidson Asikogu insisted that the sacked Governor must face the full wrath of the law.
Ihekweme insists that there is no hiding place for Ihedioha insisting that the court was right in rejecting the appeal by Ihedioha to avoid being investigated for the mismanaged funds.
An Owerri High Court headed by Justice S. I. Opara rejected Ihedioha application for an ex-parte order restraining the State House of Assembly from inviting or probing him ruling that the case would be set down for hearing.
Ihekweme is a very close associate of Gov Hope Uzodinma and holds the very important position which oversees foreign affairs, investments and World Bank related projects in the state.
He was the running mate of Mr Ken Ojiri in 2015 for the Governorship seat.
