A member of the Board of Trustee 9BoT) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Hope Uzodimma, has assured of harmonization in the State Executive Committee of Imo State chapter of the party, following what he described as the replication of officials produced from different congresses.
Uzodinma, who made the disclosure while briefing party stakeholders in Owerri, the Imo State capital yesterday, said none of the factions will stand, as the party will adopt harmonization of offices.
He disclosed that agreement has been reached by the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Governor Rochas Okorocha, that none of the congress winners will stand, in other to move the party forward.
Uzodinma said “We had congress in Imo and the court nullified it and our people went to court. Again, they did another congress somehow and now we have intervened and agreed that none of the congress will stand. Within nine days, all the leaders will sit down and harmonize the list. I have met Governor Okorocha and our Chairman, Oshiomhole and we have all agreed to harmonize”, he told his supporters.
He explained that all the party leaders must go back to their wards and ensure registration of members for the party, saying “We have to build membership from the ward and booths and that is how we can face the people and also remove the chaff from us.”
