Senator Ben Bruce Reacts To Attack On Gov. Fayose And Invasion Of Ekiti Govt House

Nigerian senator, Ben Murray Bruce, has reacted to the attack on governor Ayo Fayose and the police invasion of the Ekiti government house.

The Senator representing Bayelsa East in the National Assembly, Ben Bruce, on Wednesday reacted to the invasion of Ekiti government houseand alleged plan to assassinate Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.

 

It had been earlier reported that Fayose was on Wednesday reportedly teargassed by security operatives in the Government House, Ado-Ekiti.

 

His Special Adviser on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka who confirmed the incident on Twitter said Fayose was teargassed by policemen who laid siege at the Government House and was now receiving treatment at the Government House’s clinic.

 

Reacting to the development, the Senator said, ”It is not a coincidence that all the mouthpieces of the @OfficialPDPNig are being targeted even unconstitutionally.

”Today’s attack on @GovAyoFayose by the @APCNigeria Govt, shows the depth of lawlessness of this administration. We are losing our country. Enough is Enough!”
